about

According to Nick Leet...

The band broke up in 2014 and hadn't been in the same room all together in a couple of years. We discussed (over text) putting out a best of record. We talked about what we'd call it since we had a lack of any hits. It was decided to call the album "GREATEST HITS" anyway as we found it funny. I said "only if it's written in a big font and in gold on the cover."

We convened at Triple T Studio for the first time in a couple of years. I had a sketch of K&A but by the end of the evening we had finished arranging and recording it. It made us realize we still had something in the tank. This is the same version as on Greatest Hits but remixed and mastered.

lyrics

Klonopin and Alcohol
Can make you feel nothing at all
They say you can't go home
but I guess we'll keep trying to prove them wrong
but that's never been a cure at all

It's hard to believe it
When you can't perceive it
It's hard to believe it
When you still need it

Imitrex and Tylenol
Leave no side effects at all
Wake up face down with a headache
and a mind that's ready to break
but that's never been a cure at all

Hoping for some kind of release
Looking at some kind of defeat

Klonopin and alcohol
Can make you feel nothing at all
Klonopin and alcohol
Klonopin and alcohol
