about

According to Nick Leet...

I was trying to get my head inside the Damnwells songwriting. This was my attempt at writing a song in their style. I failed miserably and ended up with this song. It sounds absolutely nothing like the Damnwells.

Someday we'll be gone is about how things come and go in life. I had also rekindled a friendship with one of my oldest friends. He and I started a band called Pasadena '68 that lasted for four years after the break-up of HoS. "Never say never before it all comes clear"

My favorite performance of this song was outdoors in Duluth, MN at Bayfront in front of Lake Superior. There were 4,000 people in attendance. I'll never forget Jim's a cappella harmony at the end of the song.
